Introduction:

In Iceland, there are many traditions, heroes, characters from fairy tales and books. anyone of you ever dreamed of becoming a brave warrior, or a mistress, which creates comfort in the home. I suggest you arrange a mini-festival of the indigenous inhabitants of Iceland.

Task:

1.    Imagine that you are the indigenous inhabitants of Iceland.  I am a tourist who is interested in the traditions and history of Iceland.

2.    Each of you should get dressed in the national costume, and come up with decorations

3.    Each of you will talk about the chosen topic.

You have to prepare at home. I give you a week.

Process:

Everybody should take a part in this festival. We'll travel to the past: I am a tourist, you are a people of ancient Iceland sit down in front of me and start telling your topic. You can watch the video to learn more about the history of Iceland. Also you can use any sourse from the hotlist, multimedia scrapbook and subject sampler.

Evaluation:

There are no strict rules on the evaluation of this project. Still, there are the requirements you have to meet in order to get the highest mark:

1. Creativity

2. Fluency of the speech

3. Sufficiency of the vocabulary

4. The quality of the presentation
